Bellas Artes are crafted by hand at the famous Tabacalera AJ Fernandez cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua and comes in two blends. The first blend is the original Bellas Artes, blended with finely aged Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Brazilian Mata Norte long fillers, a rare binder from the Quilali region of Nicaragua, and a top-shelf hybrid wrapper called Rojita, which is a three-way cross of Connecticut, Corojo ‘99, and Havana 2000 seeds. These cigars provide a balanced and rich medium-bodied smoke with notes of earth, citrus zest, spice, and floral tones.
The other blend is a maduro version, but the entire blend is revamped rather than just changing the wrapper, made with aged Nicaraguan long fillers from Esteli, a Mexican San Andres binder, and a top-quality Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper. The Maduro is a little heartier with medium-full bodied notes of cinnamon, citrus zest, pepper, and cream.
